This was a huge meteor crater that was in Arizona.

Petrified Forest

 

 

 

 

We saw some petroglyphs and petrified rock. Also, my dad made t-shirts that had all the places we were going on Grandpa's Road Trip 2008.

Painted Desert

 

 

 

 

Painted Desert was in the middle of nowhere. They had an inn that people would stop at while they were driving across country along Route 66.

Monument Valley is where a lot of the old Westerns were filmed.

These pictures are when we went to Four Corners in Utah, New Mexico, Colorado and Arizona. The kids were laughing about doing Twister on this huge stage thing. Of course, we had Navajo Tacos.

Yea for Oaklee

Last night we had our end of season swim team party. They passed out the awards from championships. Oaklee won 6th place out of forty girls for her backstroke. Her coach was so cute and said, "This little girl could barely swim across the pool at the beginning of the season." Hurray Oaklee!
